What's Up With All This?

What's really going on with your child in school? What's truly being comprehended by your student? Does the teacher's daily report honestly reflect the student's progress? How can you tell? Are parents truthfully supporting their child educationally, while the child is in the home? Is it possible that schools, courts, and other entities would create deceptive measures to make it appear that a student is progressing academically when, in fact, the student's behavior, daily work, lack of parental involvement, and inconsistent test outcomes reflect a different truth?

In every learning environment there is potential for the stretching of truth with respect to student outcomes. Students in Home School, Online Learning, Charter and Public Schools all have potential to cheat. But can their Instructors... their Parents... and their School Administrators?

We know the answer is 'yes' based upon reports from parents, media, teachers, the public, and our own knowledge of a child's work, abilities, attitudes and disposition, and our review of the child's reports. And who suffers the most from such deception? The Students... well Initially.

Mayor Cherelle Parker's Educational Voices

In light of the fact that the Mayor's School Superintendent and the Mayor's School Board have decided to close 17 Philadelphia schools... 17... we can surmise that at least 3/4 of those schools are failing. Not ALL of the schools are failing, but the majority that are, reflect our failure as parents, grandparents, educators, administrators, child welfare entities, court systems, and a public that has made failure a badge of honor to wear for the proving of their "pet" points and "pet" projects.

Philadelphia has been failing its children for MANY YEARS. I discuss this in my blog "An Open Letter to School Principals". In it, I take 20 minutes to address some of the failures of one school - and in particular, its Principal and Administrative Staff to advance the duties, responsibilities, standards and protocols given them, by the School District of Philadelphia. I address it based upon failures discovered regarding my own grandchildren. I connect the stated school district job description for Principals with the actual experience of my family and me. I provide an analysis of the administration's failures - using excerpts from a 19-page document- that I submitted to the School Principal at my Grandchildren's School. This blog provides an opportunity for current and future Principals to correct wrong thinking, bad strategies, and illegal actions and activities they are involved with.

What Has Improved 1-Year Later?

The question today - almost one year after writing that 19-page report/letter to the Principal and her Administration, and after sharing it, and MANY other DETAILS with the Superintendent and his Administration is - what has improved in the following areas: academics, parental involvement, integrity driven reporting from school & home, and student engagement, development and skills?

I can tell ya... not much, even though one Grandchild has been improperly transferred to a Charter School. If you know... you know. You would think that School Administrators would take note of past exposures and deliver clean reporting AFTER providing students with quality education. But when PRIDE... COVER UP... and IDOL WORSHIP are stirred in the same pot amongst people of 'power struck' and 'loyalty-driven' organizations, the outcome is nothing but devastation for Children who are Students.

I have publicly spoken at a Philadelphia school board meeting in June 2025. I have asked Individuals to resign. I have taken my concerns to THIS SCHOOL BOARD and to THIS SUPERINTENDENT and HIS ADMINISTRATION. I have shared details of the issues with the School Board.

Others Involved In These Failures to Children

The failures noted in the blog to Principals were not solely of the School District but they involved DHS (including its senior leadership in Philadelphia and Harrisburg). The city's failure to protect and bring my Grandchildren to safety includes the Family Court System, and a couple of 'DHS-loyal' Police Detectives here in Philadelphia, PA.

But let's return to the subject of ALL Philadelphia children.

There's A Perfect Storm Ahead

In conjunction with the FAILURES of DHS, FAMILY COURT and Other COURTS, the Philadelphia School District is creating the PERFECT STORM for the Destruction of a 2030 and beyond Work Force. "The Family" is in trouble. "The City" is in trouble. God is pulling the cover off of institutions to show us where the problems lie. We must understand that HE - GOD wants to help us... HE has the Plans that we, as a City need. But we must first acknowledge the truth. We must first address our failures as Parents, Teachers, Judges, Officers, Pastors, Principals, Government Workers, Social Workers, School Counselors, and You and Me.

Unfruitful Outcomes of Idol Worship

I want to visit the subject of Sacrificing Children to Idols', but I will do so in a different blog. But, I will say this - - when we sacrifice the children of our City to OUR IDOLS we reap these MASSIVE FAILURES... Lawlessness by Children and Teens... Teens Unable to Read or Think Strategically... Youth Embracing a Victim Mentality... Young Adults Unprepared for the Workforce... and 17 Schools Slated for Closure.

I'm going to stop here because the reading of "An Open Letter to School Principals" blog will take you about 20 minutes. Yes, it is a long reading. But isn't that what we're facing now? Aren't we facing the inability to position our minds to lengthy, structured, necessary, thoughtful and expedient exposure to truth that helps to bring about change?

Take Ownership for Future Employees Serving You

Take notes. The issues are relevant. It does not matter what economic status or race you are. If you do not care about the children of our American cities you will still personally be impacted by the way they turn out. We ALL must take ownership of their future. If not, sooner or later you will run into a Child or an Adult for whom... no one came.
